I live in Scottsdale, Arizona and I have used a couple of the local Arizona computer repair stores for computer assistance and computer repairs.

I have bought a bunch of computer supplies at Best Buy and never had any problems. Off of Bell Road I have done alot of shopping at one of the computer supply stores - though I can't remember the name?

My last computer I had bought at Best Buy and bought a computer warranty with it. The computer was a Compaq Presario 1200 and I got alot of hours out of that computer. It always seemed something was not working right and I just had to go down to the Best Buy at the Pavilions on the Salt River Pima Indian Reservation to get it fixed. Eventually one day the computer just froze up and I could not do anything. It was a very horrible feeling not being able to start up a program or download files.

I took my Compaq Presario 1200 to Data Doctors location at 14676 N Frank Lloyd Wright BLVD Scottsdale,Arizona 85260 Phone: (480) 314-2550.

The Data Doctors onsite computer tech support took a look at my computer and said they can save my data. I was really impressed with the quick on the spot service. They offer data recovery services for your hard drive and I think they charged my $100 for the service. The important files I needed were my Microsoft Word files and my Act 2000 files for my business. The tech support crew had me come back in a few hours after they completed the work. In a few hours I had my files on a CD though my Compaq was fried and only good for the trash can!

I quickly bought a new laptop computer. This time I bought a Dell.

I ordered two day express delivery on my new computer. When the new Dell arrived it was time to check out my data recovery files. The Microsoft Words files all installed fine and all were in good working order. My Act 2000 files I could not get to work. Not sure how Data Doctors transferred or saved the files though I was never able to get the Act 2000 files from the transfer disk installed on my new Dell. Thank God I have paper backup of all my records from my business! I manually had to enter a bunch of years data into my laptop computer and the Act 2000 database. Good thing this meltdown happened in the summer when my business slows down. My computer was old and I don't know why I could not recover the Act 2000 files. And to make matters worse the Act 2000 Company would not give any help to me!

Though I did not have a good data recovery experience with my Compaq Computer at Data Doctors - my dad gets pretty good service from them. He spends alot of time in his home office and gets alot of computer tech support from Data Doctors and or other tech support companies! My dad would be a Arizona computer repair companies dream customer!
